How Do I Prepare?

The euro is falling, the United States dollar is starting to collapse, the financial situation in Iceland, Europe, Greece, The Soviet Union, and many others, is becoming un-manageable, so what do we do to prepare for the prophecy of Isaiah 2:20? "In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats; To go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks, for fear of the Lord, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth."
The Lord sees our sufferings and worries, He knows our needs, and will deliver us in due time. We are not of this world and there-fore, we are not bound by the sorrow that is to come. When we lose all things we are still blessed by the excellency in the knowledge of Jesus Christ, which is more precious than silver or gold. Many are trying to say that these perilous times can be prevented and repaired if we all go to a one world currency, world government, and one world religion.
Many say that this financial collapse is caused by mismanagement on behalf of the banking systems. But this thinking is contrary to the word of the Lord, who has foretold these thing. The financial problems of this world are caused by greed and indifference to the suffering of the poor. This collapse will come and there is nothing that will change it. Many say that the Christians community and The Nation of Israel are both the stumbling-blocks to world peace and prosperity. These thoughts are also a part of the end days prophecy's. For there shall come a great falling away, a falling away from the truth, trust, and faith in God.
For all know that there is a god, but as the word states, the devils also believe and tremble. Knowing God is not the same as being known, by God. The believers in Jesus Christ are on a hill that cannot be hidden, we have been translated into the kingdom of Gods dear Son, and there-by we stand by faith, and by faith alone. When we have done all we can do, we are commanded by the Lord to stand. Stand and be assured that no matter what peril, what disease, what war, conflict or financial situation, we will be delivered.
The christian must ask himself this question; "Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God."
Why do we worry about these things that are coming to pass, it is not as if we were not warned of these things, for we have been told to look for them. We are not to be dismayed, troubled or disheartened, for the Lord is always with us. No matter what we go threw, he will always see us threw. Can we still praise the Lord when we are poor, or hungry, naked or handicapped? Yes. We can praise the Lord for His excellent greatness, for what ever we are facing, there is another brother or sister that is going threw, or has been delivered from, the same troubles.
"Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness." This world is consumed by self, seeking those things that satisfy the flesh and not the spirit. Ownership of worldly goods is not a sin, but putting these things above God is. Hence we see this verse in Biblical prophecy; Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? Many believe that this prophecy of Isaiah, will cause them grief, cause them to loose the things that give them pleasure, automobiles, homes, money and the like, but we must remember that our Lords kingdom is not of this world and neither is ours, for if we believe and hold on until the end, we shall be with Christ.
