“Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name’s sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.”
There are many Christian web sites in this world, many deliver fine teachings on the truth of the Bible, our Lord God, our Lord Jesus Christ, the teaching power of the Holy Spirit and more than often people that dislike or even hate the Christian and all that we believe in are present to try and disrupt these teachings and discussions. Why is this? Christ never forced anyone to accept Him, His word or His offer of salvation, all He asked was for men to choose this day whom you shall serve.
Christ not only spoke of the individual but entire cities, “And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.”
“And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.”
Christ gave all men the freedom to believe in Him or not to believe. Unlike some religions that came after Him, which force men to bow down to their belief or die. Which is also Biblical prophecy being fulfilled, “They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.”
There is something wrong in this country today, when the Christians freedom of speech is under attack by those that do not believe, but those that speak out against the Christian belief are free to do so. “And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.” To endure to the end takes faith in God, Christ and God’s word. There are many that have and will be put to death for their testimony of Christ.
“Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake.”
When some churches have changed the truth of the scripture into lies and teach false doctrine are filling up and those that refuse to follow their lead, who stay with the teachings of Christ are falling away, there is something wrong.
“I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
This is all fulfilling Biblical prophecy, and is no surprise to us who have been enlightened into it. Many today have closed a blind eye to the truth of false doctrines being taught in our churches. Some are adding to the Bible with their own books, written by men who were not sent by, nor known of God. Many of these churches are becoming nothing but a meeting place for idol worshipers, political correct meetings and nothing else.
We see time and time again in the world news where Christian pastors and church members are murdered, even entire families are wiped out just because they will not bow down to false religions, false gods and false doctrine. We hear each day that somewhere in the Muslim countries, with radical Muslims, Christians are being hunted down, beaten, threatened and murdered because of their belief in Christ, this is not rumors but known facts. This also is Biblical prophecy. “Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.”
